Let's talk about Scott...
Scott Brown got into hairdressing over 25 years ago. He was first trained by two brilliant Italian brothers, Raffaele and Giuseppe Perchinelli in Oundle, who spotted his early talent.
His early promise was soon fulfilled and he was cutting hair at the Salon International when he was just 19. That’s some achievement when you consider that this annual event is the ultimate showcase for hairdressing professionals everywhere.
Word of his talent soon spread and he became the go-to guy for salons within health clubs that were failing. Scott played a big part in turning around the fortunes of the hairdressing salons within Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire, Sopwell House in St. Albans and the Esporta Health Club in Hemel Hempstead.
Scott today
Scott started doing freelance work ten years ago, and this has seen him take on a variety of commissions all around the world including photo shoots, ad campaigns, the Cannes Film Festival, music videos, overseas club openings and award ceremonies.
He opened his own ladies and men's hairdressing salon in Northampton in 2006, within Kingley Health and Beauty Salon on St Matthew’s Parade not far from Northampton’s famous Racecourse. Then after 10 years, he moved to the elegant market town of Olney in Buckinghamshire, where you'll find him today in his unisex salon based in Fountain Court.
